Our Mission

The Hypoparathyroidism Association, Inc. is a voluntary, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with all forms of Hypoparathyroidism, a rare medical disorder, by maintaining a worldwide network of support, and promoting public, as well as professional, awareness of this disorder through education with our website,  quarterly newsletter, periodic conferences and webinars.

 We are a tax exempt, non-profit Corporation in the State of Idaho and with the IRS under Title 501(c) (3) of the IRS Code. Any contributions are considered to be tax-deductible within the United States.

As of July 2010, there are four regional chapters: the Intermountain Chapter (covering Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah); the California Chapter; the Colorado Chapter, and the Indiana Chapter.

Five international Associations, independent of ours, have been organized in the United Kingdom, the Nordic Countries, Germany (INSENSU), Bahrain, and the European Community.
